2007 - The first signatures
The first signatures on the Hat of Fame were Joe Tremaine, Jackie Sleight, and the late Doug Caldwell. They all came to Top Hat to help us celebrate Sharon's Birthday.

Words from a Top Hat Graduate
I would just like to thank you for teaching your dancers to be fantastic, professional, and down to earth! I was watching a marathon of that new show “Dance Moms” and just thanking my lucky stars that I received good training without all of the drama! I love you all and miss you and dance daily! I’m going to start teaching at a community center in Lubbock in the fall. I am so excited just to have a taste of dance again! Hopefully I’ll get a chance to visit y’all soon! Love and good wishes!!

"Best Dance Recital"
Even though this was our family’s 10th consecutive dance recital, it was our first at Top Hat. I was so so impressed with not only the dancing but all the attention to detail. The show is run so smoothly and professionally. It is clear that you guys have been doing this for as long as you have. You don’t cut the corners and you do it right and it is so appreciated! Yes, Saturday is long but that is what makes Sunday run so wonderfully. Your paperwork before the event is detailed and outlines everything parents need to know. The stage looked great. My husband even said it was the best recital he had been to…which says a lot because it was also the longest! We enjoyed the video before the show and the video tribute to the 10 year dancers. I know that took a lot of time but it is special and is evidence of how much you personally care about your dancers. As long as my daughter dances, she will be at Top Hat. I wish we would have known about you 9 years ago. On a side note…”Somebody that I Use to Know” was my favorite number. I don’t know who choreographed that but it was awesome! Enjoyed the show and all the hard work you guys put into it.

Now starting her 13th Year!
Thank you for the effort you put forth to put the dancers in the correct class! It’s comforting to know that Lauren will be in a class that fits her skill level and will help her continue to develop as a dancer, have fun and be challenged. The annual show was fabulous again this year, and Lauren loved her time at Top Hat this summer. She is ready to start her 5th year at Top Hat!

Great Show
My daughter’s class was great in the recital! The ballet dance gave me tears, the tap dance gave me goosebumps, and the jazz dance made me beam with pride and realize that she is truly a “big girl” dancer now. Loved all three dances and she loved getting to show off what she’s learned! Great job.
